Helms Capital

Private real-estate investment · Hertfordshire

Patient capital, held with care over the long term.

Helms Capital Ltd is a privately owned company that acquires and holds its own property assets across the South East of England. We invest our own capital, take a considered view, and measure success in decades rather than quarters.

Our approach

Four principles that guide every decision we make.

  1. Ownership, not intermediation

We buy and hold real estate for our own account. Our interests are aligned with the quality of the assets themselves, because they are the assets we own.

  2. A long horizon

Property rewards patience. We favour a steady, considered pace of acquisition and prefer to hold well-located assets through cycles rather than trade them.

  3. Careful stewardship

Each holding is maintained and managed with discipline. Sound diligence, conservative assumptions and prudent gearing underpin how the portfolio is built.

  4. Discretion and independence

As a privately held company we answer to our own principals. That independence lets us act decisively and keep our commitments quiet and considered.

Areas of interest

Where our attention is focused.

We concentrate on established asset classes we understand well, chosen for location, resilience and enduring occupier demand.

Residential holdings

Well-located homes and small residential blocks held for stable, long-term tenancy.

Commercial premises

Selective interests in workspace and mixed-use buildings with dependable covenants.

Land and freehold

Freehold interests and land held for their long-term positional value.

Governance

A single, accountable company.

Helms Capital Ltd is incorporated in England & Wales and directed by its principals from a registered office in Hertfordshire. Our activities are limited to the buying, selling and holding of our own real estate. We keep our structure deliberately simple: one company, clear ownership, and decisions made close to the assets.

We do not manage money for third parties, offer financial products, or solicit investment from the public. Any enquiry is treated in confidence.
